Puppet Show

Nancy Sander and ‘Puppets with Pizazz’ will perform a version of “Jack and the Beanstalk”.  Nancy has won an Emmy Award, she has also won the Parents’ Choice Award, the National Education Association Award, the Ohio Education Association Award and received a silver medal in the International Film and TV Awards of New York.

Her Punch and Judy shows had audience participation and plenty of humor for all ages.

Flowers along the sidewalk

We have had many questions about the flowers along the sidewalk.  They are a Lychnis, more commomnly called Rose campion.  ‘Alba’ are the white flowered ones.  They are biennials and last year were just short woolly, silver-gray rosettes.  This year they have grown to 24 inches so far and are flowering freely.  Our hope is that they will self seed freely.

Book Sale

Book Sale will be held during regular library hours.  Most hardcover books cost 50 cents or 5 for $2.00, paperbacks cost 20 cents or 6 for $1.00.  There are a few movies, audio books and music available for purchase.  On Monday & Tuesday, July 2 & 3 is our bag sale.  The library will provides the bags that you fill for $2.00.
